More Information

Below you can find even more screenshots of Millennium. These are screenshots of some of the more advanced features of Millennium.

To the left is the Millennium settings dialog. Certain actions such as clearing your sampler's memory and assigning program numbers can be performed automatically. To the right is the drum map wizard. This wizard can take any number of samples and create a program from them, automatically mapping every sample to their own key. Although the wizard is called the 'drum map wizard', this feature is equally useful for creating multisampled instruments. It is especially handy in combination with the 'sort keygroups' function.

To the left is the dialog for reading AKAI format CDs. It works with ZIP disks too, and you don't need a SCSI drive for it to work. it is possible to export an entire CD simply by selecting the name of the drive and clicking the 'export' button. Millennium will create folders for all the partitions and volumes and then save the entire CD as .prg and .wav files.

Pictured above is the advanced 'sample extract' function. It allows you to chop up a large sample into smaller bits. Ideal for chopping up a drumloop into individual hits, or for chopping up a multisampled instrument into individual samples. This function works directly on the samples stored in your sampler. Even stereo ones!
